- Established in 1893 Buckleigh has remained in continuous private ownership by the same family. The current owner is 4th generation.
- Buckleigh is now the largest independent laundry in the South West.
- Having been totally destroyed by fire in 1994, the return to operating fully within 14 months – 4 months ahead of schedule – demonstrates Buckleigh resilience and tenacity, inspired by the loyalty of our customers. We retained 96% of our customer base.
